I was in Calgary this past weekend where I played bike polo with some of the best players in Alberta. They were so good yet they did not rub it in. The link to there website is on the bottom right. A large polo tournament will be held this coming July in Calgary and players from all over the world will be there. Stay tuned for more info.
In Lethbridge we will be playing polo again this week on Thursday at 7:00 near Westminister school parking lot or the pool parking lot (just a little west of the school). It is surprising how much fun it is and it is exciting to be part of a reemerging sport. I shall explain... Polo is huge in some parts of the world but it is going to grow into a huge sport everywhere. As strange as that may sound to someone who has never heard of it before. So I guess this blog will also serve to document that in the city of Lethbridge. Hold onto your pants Lethbridge because polo is coming.
